How iWisdom, the company behind Pixen, handles personal data collected through this website. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
Who we are
Pixen is developed by iWisdom Business Partners Ltd, company number 04803587, registered in England and Wales at 167–169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom, and registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZB190880. iWisdom Business Partners Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
This policy covers this website, pixenbio.com. The Pixen application is a separate system; the data held there is governed by the agreement between iWisdom and your organisation.
Questions about this policy, or about your personal data: privacy@iwisdom.com, or write to the address above.
What we collect
We collect only what the forms on this site ask for, and the minimum needed to keep them working safely.
- Demo requests. Your first and last name, work e-mail address, company, company type, number of assets and, if you add one, your message. We also record that you agreed to this policy, and when.
- TPP template requests. Your work e-mail address and the page you asked from. We record whether the download link was sent and whether it was used.
- Newsletter sign-ups. Your work e-mail address and the page you signed up from.
- Protection of the forms. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that each submission comes from a person. We also count submissions per IP address and form over ten-minute periods. We store a one-way hash of the address for that purpose, never the address itself, and the count is deleted when the period ends.
- Technical data. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and to block attacks. Our own logs record errors with a reference number, not your name or e-mail address.
- Website analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, HubSpot records the pages you visit on this site. If you then submit a form, your visits are linked to your enquiry. Our cookie policy has the details.
This website has no user accounts and takes no payments. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not buy data about you or combine what you give us with data from other sources.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (UK GDPR Article 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Arranging and running the demo you asked for, and following it up | Demo request | Taking steps at your request before a possible contract (6(1)(b)); where you enquire on behalf of your employer, our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (6(1)(f)) |
| Sending you the TPP template you asked for | Template request | Taking steps at your request (6(1)(b)) |
| Sending you the newsletter | Newsletter sign-up | Your consent (6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time |
| Keeping the forms free of spam and abuse | Hashed IP address, bot check | Our legitimate interest in the security of the site (6(1)(f)) |
| Understanding how the site is used | Analytics cookies | Your consent (6(1)(a)) |
| Keeping a record of requests and of your consent | All of the above | Our legal obligations (6(1)(c)) and legitimate interest in being able to show what was asked for |
We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not use your data for profiling.
Who we share it with
The following providers process personal data on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to our instructions and to appropriate security:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website, stores form submissions in a database on our behalf, and runs the Turnstile bot check.
- HubSpot, Inc. (EU data centre) is our customer relationship system. It receives demo requests and newsletter sign-ups when you submit them, and TPP template requests once you have downloaded the template. With your consent it also provides the website analytics and the cookie banner. It also tells our team by e-mail about each new request.
- Resend, Inc. sends the confirmation e-mail when you request a demo and the download link when you request the TPP template. It receives your e-mail address and, for demo requests, your first name.
Within iWisdom, only the people who work on Pixen see your data. We may also share it with our professional advisers, with authorities where the law requires it, and with a buyer or successor if the business or Pixen changes hands, in which case we will tell you.
We never sell personal data and never share it for other organisations' marketing.
International transfers
HubSpot stores your data in the European Union. Resend sends e-mail from its data centre in Ireland. Cloudflare is a global network headquartered in the United States, so your data may be processed there. Where a provider processes personal data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations, including the UK–US Data Bridge where the provider is certified under it, or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Demo requests | Three years after our last contact with you, unless your organisation becomes a customer, in which case our agreement with it applies |
| TPP template requests | Three years after our last contact with you |
| Newsletter sign-ups | Until you unsubscribe. We then keep only a note of your address so that we do not e-mail you again |
| Hashed IP address and submission count | Ten minutes |
| Your consent and the time of your request | For as long as the request it belongs to |
When data is no longer needed, we delete it from our database and from HubSpot.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR, and the EU GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
- give it to you, or to another organisation, in a machine-readable form.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or Cookie settings at the bottom of every page for analytics cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was done before.
To exercise any right, e-mail privacy@iwisdom.com. We reply within one month, and may first ask you to confirm your identity. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you are in the EEA, to your local data protection authority. We would ask you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter.
How we protect it
This website is served over HTTPS only, holds no user accounts, and stores nothing beyond what section 2 describes. Access to the database and to our providers' accounts is limited to named people with multi-factor authentication. iWisdom holds ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system; see our security page.
Cookies
This website sets analytics cookies only with your consent. Our cookie policy lists every cookie and what it does.
Children
This website is for professionals in the life sciences industry and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you by e-mail where we can.
